I can’t believe it is Thanksgiving already! This year has flown by!
The real estate market is still thriving despite a bit of a slow down at the beginning of fall. The interest rates went down consecutively the last 3 updates and there has been a new wave of home sales to close out 2023. This gives hope to the start of 2024 that the market stays strong as we gear up for another busy summer rental season.

Elizabethan Gardens is hosting their Winter Lights again like they do every year. It is select dates until Dec 30 from 6 pm – 9 pm. In addition to the beautiful lights; they have a projected Christmas movie, bon fire and marshmellow roasting.
Be sure to make it out to Jockey’s Ridge on Nov. 25 from 4-7 pm for Kites with Lights – features large 19-to-30-foot kites decked out in the spirit of the holiday season!
The 12 Bars of Christmas is happening everyday at various popular restaurants that have decorated and updated their names for the Christmas spirit. Some include: Goombrrs, Jack Frost’s, McCallister’s Corner, and more!
Dec 3, 10, & 17 come out and visit the Soundside Holiday Market and get some local Christmas gifts for your loved ones.
Head north for Christmas in Corolla and enjoy a magical display of lights including a kids’ Christmas Village. Open from 5-8 free of charge.
